For 10 years (1998-2008) the Batmobile served the children and families of the Monterey Peninsula area. It was dedicated to all children…so they would always know they have a friend in Batman. The Batmobile has long been a unifying element in our community. Spanning several generations, it provided a point of interest for young and old to gather around and share their fond memories…while also making new ones!
The Batmobile is used to support Make-A-Wish as well as local children’s programs, charitable events and fundraisers throughout the year. Your donations help support the services and events that BATMO provides.
Help with the cost of Batman keepsakes and other types of much needed support for children in need to remind them that Batman cares and to inspire courage and kindness!
Help with the cost of events where children in need have the chance take a break from their difficulties for awhile and to be celebrated for the goodness that lives within them.
To help manage the cost for safe, secure storage and maintenance of the Batmobile when it is not in use.
The Batmo program is offered by Aspire, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the corporate umbrella of Unity Church of Escondido, est. 1965.
All donations to Batmo are tax deductible under Section 501(c)(3) of the US federal tax code (Federal Tax ID 95-6083841). You will be sent a letter of receipt for tax purposes.
